Rogue Valley SMART Reading invites you to celebrate fostering a love of books and reading in local children. Join us in celebration at our annual fundraiser, Give Your Heart to SMART, and learn more about our program and the impact it can have with your support.

Come enjoy a delicious meal catered by Platon's Kitchen, Oregon wine, and craft beer provided by Beerworks. We will have several raffle packages to choose from as well as opportunities to donate to and support SMART.

Additional Event Information: The venue is wheelchair accessible and there are restrooms available.

COVID Protocol: Masks are optional, but can offer protection against transmittable diseases. Hand sanitizers will be available for use. Stay home if you are sick or know you have been exposed to COVID or any other illnesses.

About SMART Reading: SMART Reading is a children’s literacy nonprofit that serves kids in Oregon’s highest need schools with two ingredients critical for literacy and learning success: one-on-one reading time and access to books. We mobilize volunteers to read with PreK through third-grade children, building confidence, literacy skills and a love of reading. We provide a meaningful way for Oregonians to make a direct impact in their communities. Since 1992, we have paired over 147,000 volunteers to read with 373,000 children, and have put over 4 million books in the homes of the children we serve.
